    Bowflex Home Gym Options

While it is absolutely fantastic to be able to hit the gym every day, sometimes time constraint is a big factor. You have to take account the time it takes to travel to, and not to mention get ready for, the gym. This is why a good number of fitness buffs have opted for a home gym of sorts. Even those with but a small extra space to spare on their pad can make do with a simple equipment to do a few cardiovascular and strength training.

Bowflex is a brand that has been around for ages and it has revolutionized gym equipment with its new technologies and ingenious way of combining various strength training exercises to maximize time and energy output. It has also entered the home gym category and has successfully introduced some of the most effective pieces to date.

The Bowflex PR1000 Home Gym and PR3000 are some of its entries into the home gym category. They fold up (which makes them, not exactly portable but more like, adaptable to your space), they’re light because they use patented POWER RODS instead of free weights (which makes them lighter than other machines) and they are seriously versatile. They’re great for both toning and serious muscle building.

Both boast of a cardiovascular training option through the built-in rowing station and both provide varied strength training choices that target all of the muscle groups - abs, arms, chest, back, shoulders, and lower body and provide up to 210 pounds of resistance but PR3000 is upgradeable to 310 pounds. Their main differences lie in their dimensions, the number of strength exercises you can do and, of course, their prices.

The PR3000 is much smaller with only 64 inches in length as opposed to the PR1000’s space-consuming 84 inches. Both are about 80 inches high and, give or take, 40 inches wide. The PR3000 can be used for over 50 kinds of strength exercises while the PR1000 is limited to 30 exercises.

The great thing about Bowflex is they provide a guarantee and a warranty on their equipment so naturally you can’t go wrong with picking this brand for your home gym.
